Fundación Mariposas Amarillas

Fundación Mariposas Amarillas "Yellow Butterflies", is a small Colombian grassroots organization committed to supporting disadvantaged children and families around Santa Marta, Colombia.

We aim to provide services such as basic education, recreational activities, and workshops that include information on health, nutrition, and the importance of education to children and their families in Santa Marta’s under-served neighborhoods.

Our mission is to help the children and families in the community to access the tools they need to fight poverty and social injustice by empowering them through education, information, and support.  We give them the chance to spread their wings and reach their full potential as proud, enthusiastic, andeffective members of their communities.
