    The Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum has the largest collection in the world of vintage aircraft flown by U.S. Marine Corps aviators. The Museum is open to the public free of charge six days per week and is staffed by volunteers many of whom served as military pilots and air crew. On display are 31 aircraft as well as hundreds of artifacts from the birth of Marine Corps aviation in 1919 to the present day. The collection and the programs offered at the Museum attract local, national and international visitors and it has a large social media following of aircraft and history enthusiasts.
