YouthConnect CA (formerly "Twerlyp") is formed and currently operated by several friends in colleges & universities across California who have faced the hardships of adolescence. Some of us have become depressed, others of us may have witnessed substance abuse, and others may have been victims of violent crime. Our stories may differ in magnitude, but our lives are scarred the same. At times we’ve felt alone, and had no one to look to, and it is one of the most terrifying & unbearable feelings to have. We don’t want others to feel this way, because they too are important, and they too deserve the chance to be heard.
Our vision is to become the U.S.' first all-encompassing 24/7 youth-powered connection for day-to-day knowledge, counselling, and service referrals on: phone, chat, social networks, and mobile apps.
