Bertrand Farm is an educational farm whose mission is to connect people to local food production in order to promote sustainable agriculture, health and earth stewardship..Bertrand Farm was purchased in 1996 by John and Theri Niemier. The vision to become an educational farm facility was born out of Theri’s creative and innovative thinking, her gift for teaching youth, love for nature, and interest in nutrition.The farm has been evolving ever since and now includes year round activities and classes. Summer camps, Farm to School programming, internships and Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA) are all programs that keep the farm active year round. These programs work together to provide an ongoing educational experience that includes all ages.
