The NCCSAFE is a non-profit organization created with the purpose of providing the American public with a centralized resource center for educational tips, preparation strategies, and survival tactics, as well as survivor resources in response to acts of domestic terrorism (such as 9/11, the Boston Marathon, Sandy Hook Elementary School, Fort Hood, the Columbia Mall, and the Navy Yard domestic terrorist incidents).

Most importantly, our mission’s value-added service is to establish nationwide security protocols for all venues (for businesses, schools, and public venues) and offer fee-based site security surveys conducted by certified infrastructure security professionals, as well as establish mandates and best practices for venue security in the event of an active shooter or other domestic terrorist incident.

Another critical NCCSAFE mission is to raise funds to offer support resources and programs for all survivors and their families affected by domestic terrorism, such as on-going counseling, as well as adult retreats and children’s camps for survivors. NCCSAFE is currently planning a 2015 NCCSFAFE 5k/Walk – Keep Their Memory Moving for those fallen Americans, survivors, family, friends and supporters and we need your help to get this 5k/Walk stood-up. We are a newly formed non-profit organization and are very excited to continue to grow into a centralized organization that will aid the nation at-large. But we can’t do it without your help, support, and/or partnership!

Examples of our growing resources and those we hope to make available once we achieve our funding goals are:

·         Awareness, education, and outreach to enhance citizen preparation and response

·         24/7 counseling centers for survivors of domestic terrorism, family and colleagues/friends

·         Nationwide standardized response protocols with the help of the Department of Homeland Security at the federal, state, and local levels (such as mandating drills for shelter-in-place and lockdown at all venues at a minimum - twice a year)

·         Partnership with law enforcement and emergency response teams to ensure standardized protocols are readily practiced

·         24/7 cyber tip-line and reporting center for reporting suspicious activity and threats

·          Survivor healing programs and retreats

·         Public policy support and awareness for domestic terrorism laws and response guidelines
