More About Us Founded in 2023 and officially registered in France in 2025, Pass NetZero is a non-profit organization addressing the climate emergency through nature-based solutions that benefit both the environment and local communities.
What We Do: We research and develop cost-efficient carbon capture methods using aquatic plants across marine, freshwater, and brackish environments. Our approach goes beyond carbon sequestration to provide multiple co-benefits including water quality improvement, methane reduction, and sustainable product development from harvested biomass.

Whom We Serve:
Our Reach: Operating across Southern Africa with current partnerships at Namibia University of Science and Technology, Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and University of Botswana. Planned implementation sites include the Okavango Delta, Walvis Bay, Windhoek, and urban river systems.
Impact Vision: By 2030, we envision a network of community-owned aquatic carbon capture sites across Southern Africa, demonstrating that effective climate action can simultaneously address environmental challenges and create sustainable livelihoods for local communities.
