Kirstin's Haven

Kirstin’s Haven, Inc. (KHI), a private, non-profit, CARF accredited comprehensive behavioral health care organization and Permanent Supportive Housing provider in Prince George’s County Maryland. Founded in 2010 and receiving non-profit exempt status in 2011, KHI was established to provide comprehensive supportive services and transitional housing to homeless veterans in the County. In the ensuing years we have expanded our programs to meet the pressing needs and challenges of the unhoused and those in danger of losing their housing in county.

We currently provide permanent supportive housing to 14 chronically homeless individuals, offer mental health screenings and psychiatric rehabilitative services at emergency shelters in the county, and partner with the Department of Corrections and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and Core Services Agency to offer comprehensive, flexible, and ongoing services for adults, children, and adolescents with a wide range of psychological difficulties, including serious and persistent mental illness.
