Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC)

The Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC) supports the largest network of charitable immigration legal programs in the nation. Its mission is to promote the dignity and protect the rights of immigrants in partnership with a dedicated network of community-based immigration legal programs, both Catholic and non-Catholic (30 percent). The goal of CLINIC and its network is to provide a full range of comprehensive legal and non-legal support services to the most vulnerable and disenfranchised migrants, e.g., children, refugees, asylum seekers, detainees, families in need of reunification, laborers abused in the workplace, victims of domestic violence, survivors of human trafficking, and more.  Founded in 1988 with 17 affiliates, CLINIC’s network now includes more than 260 affiliates in 46 states, DC, and Puerto Rico. CLINIC has four core areas of work: Advocacy, Capacity Building, Religious Immigration Services, and Training and Legal Support. Its network serves almost a quarter of a million immigrants each year.
