P-SELL is an effectiveness study to improve science achievement of all students, especially English language learners (ELLs), in urban and rural elementary schools. The project is potentially transformative, in that it provides equitable learning opportunities for ELLs and other traditionally marginalized groups in the sciences, while also conceptualizing essential elements of high-quality science education for all students. The P-SELL project is housed in the Department of Teaching and Learning, within the Seinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University.
