Acerca de

Established in 2004 in Brasilia, the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG, formerly known as the International Poverty Centre) is a global centre for applied research and training on development policy. It is based on a partnership between the United Nations Development Programme and the Government of Brazil. It facilitates South-South learning in development solutions by fostering policy dialogue, carrying out policy-oriented research, as well as conducting training and evaluation. IPC aims to expand developing countries' knowledge and capacities to design and implement effective policies towards the attainment of high inclusive growth. As part of UNDP's effort to decentralize its key practice areas, IPC is committed to provide specialised advice to partners in the developing world and to facilitate knowledge sharing.

189 countries are part of the IPC’s knowledge-sharing network. 9 publication series are launched by the IPC covering 4 research programmes and 16 thematic areas. 1 new publication is weekly disseminated. Training Sessions, Study Tours and Workshops organized by the IPC have already involved more than 7.000 representatives of around 50 developing countries. More than 100 Advisory Missions to developing countries have been carried out by IPC researchers. More than 1500 research centres are partners of IPC in 106 developing countries.
