Cultivating Community North Valley

Cultivating Community North Valley is a network of organizations that provide education and resources to get people in the Chico area involved in local food. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be involved in the local food movement, regardless of access to resources or language.

In 2011, the partnership was formed under the name of Cultivating Community North Valley upon receipt of a 2011 California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) Specialty Crop Grant awarded to the Chico State Research Foundation, under the directorship of Dr. Lee Altier. The grant will last through June 2014.
