The Lodi Adopt-A-Child organization was formed to fill an obvious need observed within the community of Lodi that affects countless youth within our community. Not all children are born into equal financial status and as such sometimes miss an opportunity to grow into a productive citizen of their community. This program was designed to give disadvantaged youth of our community an opportunity to secure a Christmas present; a chance to attend a summer/science camp; to join a youth group; to secure warm clothing he or she may not receive due to the economic situation of his/her parent(s) or because the child is the victim of some form of child abuse.
