Snohomish County Health and Safety Network; Everett, WA

The Snohomish County Health and Safety Network is a community-based program working toward the reduction and prevention of youth violence and substance abuse.

The Network takes a comprehensive approach, tailored to the various communities within Snohomish County.

• We bring together existing organizations to collaborate in maximizing the resources of the community.

• We engage the whole community in identifying the particular needs and strengths of each community.

• We ensure that young people are active participants in building a community that nurtures young people and strengthens families

The Network implements these strategies through community projects including, The Youth Empowerment Project, Peer Education Projects, and Community-based Prevention Planning Projects.
