Founded in 2015, the NYC Veterans Alliance is a member-driven, grassroots policy advocacy and community-building organization dedicated to advancing veterans and their families as civic leaders. Through our four programs--Community Outreach, Civic Leadership, Policy & Legislative Advocacy, and Get Ready to Run--we have established an online information hub for the NYC Metro veterans community at OurVeterans.NYC and work to train and advance our community in opportunities to advocate for improved local laws, serve in their local political bodies, and step up to lead as elected officials.
