Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive financial performance and growth in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the organization’s growth and profitability objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning efforts, providing guidance and analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Provide timely and insightful financial analysis and reporting to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Treasury and Cash Management
  • Manage the organization’s cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial performance and support operational needs.
  • Develop and implement cash management strategies, including investment policies and financing strategies.
  • Accounting and financial Operations
  • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Risk management and Compliance
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Financial Control and Governance
  • Establish and maintain financial controls and governance processes to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and ensure integrity of financial information.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Capital Planning and Investment Analysis
  • Evaluate capital investment opportunities and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision making.
  • Monitor and assess the financial performance of investments and capital projects
  • Investor Relations and Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders on financial matters.
  • Communicate financial performance, strategies, and outlook to investors and stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Team Development
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Mentor and develop finance team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Strategic Initiatives and M&A
  • Participate in strategic planning and execution of key initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and divestitures.
  • Conduct financial due diligence and integration planning for potential acquisitions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in senior finance leadership roles, with a track record of driving financial performance and growth. 
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, develop insights, and make strategic recommendations.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve objectives.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives, board members, investors, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex financial issues and make sound decisions in a dynamic and fast-past environment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align financial goals with overall business objectives. 
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all financial matters.
