ABOUT HOA BINH

Do you love imparting the gift of English to eager students? Are you craving immersion in Vietnam’s breathtaking landscapes and cultural sights? We invite you to join us as an English teaching volunteer with New Sky English Center in Lac Thuy!

New Sky is a promising English language school in Hoa Binh province, led by the ambitious founder and teacher Ngoc Ha - a single mother committed to serving her community. As their partner, Catalyst for Change is seeking volunteers to teach English to students of all ages in Lac Thuy and surrounding rural villages.

As our volunteer English teacher, you will instruct students at New Sky and other local schools, helping strengthen much-needed language abilities for better income opportunities. Lesson planning guidance is provided, but creativity is welcomed!

Outside the classroom, you’ll meet welcoming locals while exploring sublime mountain vistas, lush tropical jungle, and the majestic Tam Chuc pagoda complex - Vietnam’s largest. Our volunteer house allows complete cultural immersion within the comforts of the community.

Make an impact by sharing your English expertise with eager Vietnamese students at New Sky’s blossoming schools. Gain perspective conversing with teachers like Ha working daily to uplift their neighborhoods.
