Blog Writing Volunteer

Are you a writer and creator who is passionate about education equity and non-profit work? We’re looking for a volunteer blog writer who will help us build 4T's blog’s following, expanding the impact and reach of our blog and organization. Your role as our blog writer will be to create blog content each week that captures readers' interest, and you will be responsible for creating and sending our monthly 4T’s newsletter.

Weekly blog posts will pertain to inner-city youth, education, career exploration and advice for young professionals, and entrepreneurship, and you are encouraged to research current trends in each of these categories independently and by networking with others online. Your blog posts will receive comments, and it will be your job to respond to and monitor them.

This remote position will last approximately 6 months, with a commitment of 4 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Adhere to daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
• Interested in blogging, education, non-profit work, youth development, and/or entrepreneurship
• Excellent grammar and proofreading skills
• Interested in expanding knowledge of how to write a successful blog
• Excited to become a public voice of our organization
