Capital Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for kind and compassionate massage therapists to pamper hospice patients living at home, or in long term care settings.
For the hospice patient muscles may be contracted and stiff. Patients may spend their days immobile in a recliner or bed. Massage therapists can offer compassionate touch, relaxation, and relief.
All of our volunteers receive orientation in end-of-life care and support. Capital Hospice massage-therapy volunteers must have a current massage license.
Capital Hospice values our volunteers, and respects your busy schedules. Your commitment is completely up to you, whether you spend a couple of hours a week, or one day a month. Your time is always appreciated. If this sounds like the right fit for you please contact Deborah Struck Volunteer Coordinator 630-395-7728 or email dstruck@capitalhpc.com
