Global Outreach Doctors (GoDocs) is a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities during natural and human-made disasters, such as wars, earthquakes, typhoons, refugee situations, and more. Responsibilities: 

 As a Volunteer Operations Assistant at GoDocs, you will be an integral part of our mission to improve healthcare access for underserved populations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in operational tasks to send medical volunteers to various locations, depending on ongoing projects and scope.
• Research organizations for potential collaboration and draft outreach templates.
• Attend periodic meetings with current partners and follow-up on any action steps.
• Respond to partnership inquiries.
• Assist in meeting coordination, agenda setting, and meeting notes.
• Embrace and respect the diversity of our patients, ensuring culturally sensitive and inclusive care.

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Prior related experience preferred.
• Curiosity for the global health space.
• Initiative to drive partnerships to fruition.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help underserved communities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Time Commitment:

We ask all volunteers to be available for 5-10 hours/week for a minimum of 6 months.
