Live Stream Technician Volunteer

The Peace Economy Project is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Live Stream Technician to assist with broadcasting an upcoming small fundraising Concert. This event is crucial for our fundraising efforts and will help spread awareness about the importance of reallocating military spending to peace-building initiatives. The concert will be held at the Peace Church in Webster Groves and will also be streamed live to reach a broader audience.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage live streaming equipment on the day of the concert.
• Coordinate with the event coordinators to ensure a smooth broadcast.
• Conduct a pre-event test run to guarantee all technical issues are addressed.
• Manage real-time troubleshooting and technical support during the event.
• Optionally help with post-event editing for archival footage.

Requirements:

• Experience with live streaming technology and platforms (e.g., OBS, YouTube Live, Twitch).
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues swiftly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Must be available on the date of the concert (October 19, 2024) and for pre-event setup and testing.
• Own or have access to necessary live streaming equipment (cameras, microphones, encoders, etc.) is a plus but not mandatory.
