Community Outreach Coordinator (Montgomery County & Philadelphia)

We are a 501(c)3, non-profit whose mission is to teach, support, and empower women and girls globally to find their VOICE.

The Community Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in connecting our organization with the broader community. Your responsibilities will involve planning and implementing outreach strategies, fostering relationships, and promoting community engagement.

Duties:

• Organize regular outreach exhibitions & workshops within the community.
• Coordinate community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
• Ensure timely scheduling and participation.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with collaborative partners, businesses, and individuals.
• Strengthen existing connections and explore new opportunities.
• Collaborate with various team members & external supporters to ensure proper messaging & showcase our community impact. 

Skills Needed:

• Communication skills: Both verbal and in writing to inform and persuade donors, the media and people in the community of the organization’s purpose.
• Project management skills: It is essential for an Outreach Coordinator to have skills in time management, scheduling other people and coordinating locations for events as well as vendors for events.
• Organizational skills: Essential.

Required: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related fields.
• Experience: Preferred experience of 3-5 years within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities.

This is primarily a remote position, however must be onsite for outreach activities/workshops. Volunteer must be based in Montgomery County, PA or Philadelphia.
