LifeSmart Education is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that enhances the availability of nontraditional educational classes and resources for underserved youth and communities. We help those who need unwavering, positive life management skills. Youth aren't born knowing the life skills that we wish they did; they must be taught and molded into productive members of society. Why volunteer with LifeSmart Education?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and gain valuable experience in outreach, development, and community engagement working with a small nonprofit organization. 

The Outreach Coordinator volunteer position has a minimum 3-month commitment with an expected 1 to 2 hours per week. Volunteers will earn an endorsement on LinkedIn or a referral letter upon successful completion of their volunteer commitment.

Role Description

We are looking for a responsive, energetic, enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Outreach Coordinator. The incumbent will be responsible for reaching out to various stakeholders through strategic cold calling campaigns.

We are actively seeking multiple Outreach Coordinator volunteers to join our dynamic team. This is a remote role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to prospective partners in a resourceful and engaging way, leveraging phone, email, and social media
• Identify opportunities for promoting LifeSmart’s mission and programs through various outreach channels
• Generate sales growth with external partners by promoting our services and programs
• Help modify and develop our programs based on deep understanding of needs and wants of these potential stakeholders, as well as competitors' strengths and weaknesses

Qualifications/Skills

• Prior experience in sales or cold-calling strongly preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Maintains a high level of professionalism
• Passion and Enthusiasm for education
