As the Sustainable Tourism Intern, you will gain real community leadership experience, working closely with our artisan partners to support them in hosting visitors to their communities. You will also work closely with tourists, students and volunteers to educate them about responsible cultural tourism and help them connect to Andean culture and their community hosts. This is a busy, people-facing role, with much of your time spent outdoors and in the mountain villages. There is also lots of opportunity to adapt the role according to your interests, with opportunities to get involved with reservation and database management, budgeting and communications.
