About us
The UK Youth Climate Coalition are a group of 18-29 year olds who work towards our mission: to mobilise and empower young people to take positive action for global climate justice.
We are volunteer run, consensus driven, non-hierarchy and non-profit in our nature, that means that each member has an equal part to play in the functioning of UKYCC. Most of our work is conducted remotely, and we have members based across the UK.
We are currently running several campaigns, with different local, national and international focuses. UKYCC is constantly changing and evolving, with our latest new working group focusing on an ambitious campaign for the upcoming general election.

About the role
We're looking for young people passionate about about building a strong, broad, intersectional youth climate movement to fight for climate justice. You don't have to be a climate scientist or a protester (though we like those people too!) UKYCC is a space to learn and grow, to meet new people who share your passion and develop new skills and confidence.
We have six working groups you could join; Community, Systems Change, Communications, COP, Operations and the brand new Elections working group!
You can find out more about what each working group is looking for via the recruitment pack on our website.
