Share Ourselves Community Programs:
Food Pantry (Year-Round)
- Fill our shelves with canned goods, non-perishable items, and desserts
- Non-cooking Lunch Bags - sandwiches, chips, soda, yogurt, juice, pudding. Homeless food bags will be distributed on the same day
- Hygiene Items - New toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, razors, deodorant, etc. Preferably travel sized
- Baby care products - new items only including diapers, formula, bottles, baby food, etc.
- Cold weather clothing such as hats, socks, shoes, scarves, coats and blankets
School Readiness Program (Year-Round)
Thanksgiving Food Drive (November)
- Thanksgiving food items for families (non-perishable items)
- Donations of gift cards to grocery stores
- Frozen chicken, turkey or ham
Adopt a Family Program (December)
- Donations of gift cards to grocery stores
- Toys for children ages 2-17
- Cold weather clothing such as hats, socks, shoes, scarves, coats and blankets
- Games for the family

To volunteer for our Community Programs
- Please fill out an application on Share Our Selves (volunteerhub.com). Only one application is needed for each group.
- Once you fill out an application, please contact volunteers@shareourselves.org.
- You do not need to attend orientation if you are only volunteering for a Community Event.
- All community event volunteer will be required to attend a huddle before an event going over the details and information for the day.
- Prior to the event, participants will receive a timeline of the event, their assignment, and details about the event.
- Other training will be provided, as necessary.
Requirements to Volunteer for Community Programs:
- Must be at least 12 years old with an adult chaperone over the age of 18 in attendance.
- One adult chaperone is required for up to every 5 volunteers under the age of 18.
- Volunteers under the age of 18 and chaperones must be working together during the event, assigned to the same task.
- Chaperones are to monitor volunteers under the age of 18 at all community programs.
