The Legal Services Program (LSP) provides a broad range of professional immigration legal services to low-income residents of the ten southern counties of New Mexico, spanning the U.S.-Mexico border from Arizona to Texas. Our services focus on direct representation of clients in various practice areas, including:
- Citizenship
- Family-based immigration (Family Petitions, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, Hardship Waivers, Removal of Conditions)
- Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Self-Petitions / U Visas / T Visas for survivors of abuse, trafficking, and other crimes
- Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) for undocumented children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected (including Family Court representation on Kinship Guardianship proceedings and Immigration Court representation if needed)
- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
