Senior Storytelling & Content Creation Project
We are a community-based initiative in Fremont, CA focused on connecting generations through storytelling. Our mission is to create meaningful interactions between students and seniors by preserving life stories, memories, and personal experiences in creative and lasting ways.
Through small group sessions and one-on-one conversations, volunteers spend time with seniors in local communities, listening to their journeys and helping transform those stories into written pieces, mini booklets, photos, and optional short-form videos.
We believe every story deserves to be heard and remembered. By combining community service with creativity, this project not only supports seniors in sharing their voices, but also empowers students to develop empathy, communication skills, and storytelling experience.
Some stories may also be adapted into light, respectful social media content (such as short clips or reels) to celebrate these moments and share them with a wider audience.
This is not a traditional volunteer role — it’s a blend of human connection, creativity, and real-world experience. Volunteers walk away not only with hours, but with meaningful relationships and portfolio-worthy work.
We primarily serve senior communities, small local groups, and intergenerational gatherings in the Fremont area.
