Havenwatch Foundation for Child Protection is a civilian initiative focused on improving how online child exploitation and abuse concerns are reported, verified, and escalated through lawful channels.
We are in the process of transitioning into a formally registered non-governmental organization (NGO). We do not operate as a law enforcement body and do not claim investigative or enforcement authority. Instead, we exist to support ethical, evidence-based handling of reports and to strengthen cooperation with established platforms, child protection organizations, and relevant authorities.
We receive reports from a range of online communities, partner networks, and public reporting pathways. Every submission is reviewed through a structured intake and verification process designed to assess credibility, evidentiary sufficiency, and legal relevance. Only cases that meet defined standards proceed beyond intake.
Where appropriate, we utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT) to contextualize verified information, strictly within legal and ethical boundaries. We do not engage in public exposure or extrajudicial activity.
When cases are deemed actionable, we prepare and escalate them through lawful reporting mechanisms to relevant platforms, child protection entities, or competent authorities, depending on jurisdiction and circumstances. Throughout this process, we prioritize child safety, data protection, proportionality, and the wellbeing of reporters and volunteers.
Our work is guided by clear internal policies, legal compliance requirements, and operational oversight. As we continue our transition toward NGO status, we remain committed to professionalism, transparency, and responsible collaboration in the broader child protection ecosy
