Inspired by the vision of hospice pioneer Dame Cicely Saunders, volunteers have been essential to hospice care since its earliest days. There are three ways to volunteer with Caris

Patient Companionship Volunteers: Engage in meaningful visits by playing games, reading aloud, listening to music, reminiscing about cherished memories, and simply spending quality time in conversation.

Administrative Support Volunteers: You might be answering phones, organizing files, preparing admission materials, uploading documents, and maintaining patient records. Your attention to detail ensures our team can focus on providing excellent patient care.

Special Project Volunteers: Utilize your artistic skills in areas like arts, crafts, and sewing to create items that offer comfort and brighten their days. Your unique creations provide a tangible expression of care, without direct patient contact.
