Amedisys Hospice of Uniontown

Amedisys Hospice of Uniontown, PA, seeks compassionate people to become volunteers and a part of our team in various locations in Uniontown, PA and surrounding areas. As a hospice volunteer, you would provide companionship and emotional support to our patients and their families. It can be a simple as a visit with a patient just to chat or read to them or simply brighten their day! However, if you have special talents that you'd really like to share, we offer pet therapy, music therapy and art therapy to our patients.

A hospice volunteer is a special person that's made the conscious decision to make a difference in the lives of others. Can you even offer 1-2 hours of your time per month? We're very flexible! Our company takes great pride in the fact that we offer trained volunteers. Are you a Veteran? We're always looking for Vets to connect with our Veteran patients!

If you'd like to volunteer, but not as a direct volunteer, we can always use help in our office with mailings, etc. I'm certain that if you're interested in helping, we can find a way for you to do that. Hospice patients come from all walks of life and backgrounds. We strive to maintain a diverse pool of volunteers who might connect with each of our patients and their caregivers.
