    Supervisor Matt Haney is a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, representing District 6 (Tenderloin, Civic Center, Mid-Market, SOMA, Yerba Buena, Rincon Hill, South Beach, Mission Bay, Treasure Island). Supervisor Haney is a past Commissioner and past President and Vice President of the San Francisco Board of Education.

    Supervisor Haney has a BA from UC Berkeley, where he graduated with highest honors and as a Valedictorian finalist, an MA from Stanford University School of Education, a JD from Stanford Law School, and an LLM in Human Rights from National University of Ireland where he was a Senator George Mitchell Scholar.

    As Supervisor, Haney is committed to addressing the most pressing issues facing our neighborhoods: homelessness, dirty streets and sidewalks, crime, and economic inequality.
