Sobre Nós

The Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC) serves as a central resource for myriad operational issues which impact the administration of the judicial branch. The AOIC’s mission is to assist the Chief Justice and the Illinois Supreme Court in their leadership role as the head of Illinois’s judicial system, its courts, officers and related offices and programs through its six divisions, which include the Executive, Administrative Services, Court Services, Judicial Education, Civil Justice, Probation Services, and Judicial Management Information Services Divisions.

The AOIC's newly created Civil Justice Division is currently hiring for an administrative assistant. The Civil Justice Division's objective is to improve access to the civil justice system for all court users, particularly to those who are low-income and vulnerable, through creating standardized statewide court forms, improving language access and interpreter services, developing training materials and educational programs for judges and court personnel, and supporting the work of the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice, among other priorities. With regards to its language access efforts, the Civil Justice Division recently launched an interpreter certification program which has significant administrative support needs.
