    Position Overview

    Keystone Community Corporation seeks a highly motivated and community-oriented professional to serve as Community Engagement Manager. This role will serve as the 'glue' of the Keystone Community, ensuring that entrepreneurs, innovators, residents, and community partners feel welcomed, supported, and engaged. The Community Engagement Manager will focus on cultivating meaningful relationships, facilitating inclusive programming, and building trust within Keystone’s ecosystem and the surrounding community.

    Position Focus and Approach

    The Community Engagement Manager will prioritize efforts in concentric circles of impact:

    • Inside CoLAB – Ensure individuals and organizations utilizing Keystone’s space have a welcoming, responsive, and resourceful experience.
    • Around the District – Build relationships with organizations located in and around the Keystone Innovation District footprint to foster connection and collaboration.
    • Community at Large – Engage with neighborhood and community-based organizations near Keystone to ensure inclusive participation and representation in programming and opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary community contact and relationship manager for CoLAB members, program participants, partners, and local organizations.
    • Ensure inclusive and welcoming experiences for all individuals using Keystone spaces and programs.
    • Develop and maintain regular communication channels (in-person, email, social media, etc.) with internal and external community stakeholders.
    • Support the planning and execution of programming and events, including those held during evenings and weekends.
    • Coordinate partner and community-based organization use of Keystone spaces and facilitate their programming needs.
    • Build relationships with neighborhood associations, civic groups, and frontline organizations within the immediate vicinity of Keystone.
    • Track engagement metrics and provide regular reports on community participation and satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing and Programming teams to ensure seamless delivery of events and experiences.

    Schedule & Work Expectations

    This position will require a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the Keystone community. Approximately 50% of work will take place during traditional weekday business hours, and 50% will occur during evenings and weekends to support programming, events, and partner activities.

    The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven community builder who thrives on creating inclusive spaces and fostering belonging. Strong interpersonal skills, a service mindset, and comfort working in dynamic environments are essential. Previous experience in community organizing, coworking or event management, nonprofit engagement, or entrepreneurial ecosystem building is highly desirable.

    Compensation

    This is a full-time, salaried position. The expected salary range is $55,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
