Position Summary:
Under the overall supervision of the Director of Portfolio Management and Loan Servicing, this position provides support services to the Loan Department by handling Administration of the Department, particularly with Loan Documentation, Loan Booking, and Loan Closing activities for assigned borrowers, along with post-loan Servicing tasks (including delinquent debt collection, database maintenance projects, and other duties common during the normal course of loan repayment), while ensuring compliance with BINW’s procedures and state and federal regulations, in conjunction with Loan Officers. This position is hybrid-remote, requiring work in office 1-3 days a week depending on business needs.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Loan Documentation (50%)
o Preparing and reviewing loan documentation to ensure compliance with BINW’s procedures, SBA Standard Operating Procedures, state and federal regulations
o Prepare and audit Loan files for compliance
o Order title policy, surveys, appraisals and construction inspections, Flood, UCC Search
o Perfect collateral for loans including Deeds of Trust, vehicle titles, and UCC filings, among others
o Reviewing information entered into loan management database at time of disbursement
o Verifying client-provided data
o Maintain up to date records on loans including insurance renewals and expirations, collateral renewals, among others
o Preparing Payoff Statements
o Releasing Collateral when processing paid in full loans
Loan Administration: (35%)
o Assist in communications between BIN and borrowers
o Monitor general email inbox and respond or assign to other staff members as needed
o Act as contact for incoming phone calls
o Assist clients with payment scheduling, account information changes
o Work with Loan Accountant to ensure proper payment information is ready for ACH
o Establish contact with clients with payment bounce backs and delinquencies via email, phone, or letter
o Coordinate recovery of collateral for loans in serious delinquency
o Work with government and non-government agencies in recovery of guarantees
