The Engagement Associate will support Glasswing’s Director of Engagement in building and strengthening relationships with donors, corporate partners, and volunteers. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that blends project management, communications, and logistics. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and proactive. You are someone who takes initiative, solves problems quickly, and thrives on juggling multiple priorities with precision and creativity. The Engagement Associate will also work closely with Glasswing’s President, US Country Director, and with the communications and programs teams.
Key Responsibilities
Donor & Partner Engagement
- Support donor and partner communications, including thank-you notes, reports, and personalized updates.
- Conduct research on prospective donors and partnerships, and track engagement activities.
- Maintain up-to-date records in Glasswing’s CRM and ensure timely follow-up.
- Help prepare decks, invitations, and materials for donor meetings and events.
Event & Project Management
- Support planning and execution of events including galas, salons, corporate volunteer activations, and learning journeys.
- Manage event logistics, guest lists, RSVPs, timelines, and follow-up communications.
- Troubleshoot challenges in real time and anticipate needs before they arise.
Volunteer Engagement
- Assist with corporate volunteer event coordination in NYC and provide on-site support.
- Track volunteer data, participation, and impact metrics.
- Help with post-event recaps and reports for partners and internal stakeholders.
Data & Administrative Management
- Handle data entry tracking gifts and engagements.
- Maintain organized systems for managing projects, partnerships, and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and calmness under pressure; able to pivot quickly when priorities shift
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and genuine enthusiasm for Glasswing’s mission
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools a plus
- 2–4 years of experience in nonprofit engagement, partnerships, events, fundraising, or project management a plus

Full-time employees are expected to work in the Glasswing International office located in the Financial District.
