ABOUT REINVESTMENT PARTNERS & EAT WELL Rx
Reinvestment Partners is a nonprofit that addresses the problems of poverty and social injustice. Eat Well Rx is our food is medicine program which provides access to healthy food through healthy meals, grocery boxes, and produce prescriptions. Eat Well Rx integrates produce prescriptions and other food is medicine interventions into the healthcare sector to meet individuals’ food and health needs. Eat Well Rx leverages best-in-class technology to distribute healthy food funds at scale, and the Eat Well produce prescription program is the largest of its kind in the US.
We partner with payers, health systems, care management organizations, and community clinics. Our goal is to embed produce prescriptions in healthcare for everyday Americans, and we want to be ready with a turn-key solution when that day comes. We are using program design, advocacy, and strategic partnerships to lay the path toward healthy food as a covered benefit. Everything we do, from participant messaging to research and evaluation, is geared toward getting us closer to healthy food for all.
