    Reinvestment Partners is a nonprofit that addresses the problems of poverty and social injustice. Eat Well Rx is our food is medicine program which provides access to healthy food through healthy meals, grocery boxes, and produce prescriptions. Eat Well Rx integrates produce prescriptions and other food is medicine interventions into the healthcare sector to meet individuals’ food and health needs. Eat Well Rx leverages best-in-class technology to distribute healthy food funds at scale, and the Eat Well produce prescription program is the largest of its kind in the US.

    We partner with payers, health systems, care management organizations, and community clinics. Our goal is to embed produce prescriptions in healthcare for everyday Americans, and we want to be ready with a turn-key solution when that day comes. We are using program design, advocacy, and strategic partnerships to lay the path toward healthy food as a covered benefit. Everything we do, from participant messaging to research and evaluation, is geared toward getting us closer to healthy food for all.

    ABOUT THE PROGRAM MANAGER POSITION

    The Program Manager is responsible for managing the implementation of Reinvestment Partners’ healthy food programs, including Eat Well Rx programming, on a day-to-day basis. The Program Manager will work directly with partners across program areas to ensure that the program(s) function properly, are effective, and remain compliant with relevant regulations. The Program Manager will be responsible for all components of the assigned programs and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary. Program management work includes reporting and data management, program implementation, and working with external partners to advance our goals.

    The Program Manager is a full-time position. Fully remote candidates will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates who can regularly work in-person at Reinvestment Partners’ offices in Durham, North Carolina or Santa Cruz, CA. Salary range is $65,000-$75,000 annually and benefits include health, dental, vision, and retirement.

    Program Manager Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing and organizing program data, relevant software includes our CRM (Salesforce) and Excel
    • Work directly with the participating partners in the healthcare sector to launch new Eat Well programs, provide support to enrollers, and handle backend administrative management to troubleshoot any issues.
    • Help manage our participant support system for people enrolled in our Eat Well programs. This may include working with our participant support team and directly conducting participant support.
    • Incorporate feedback from program partners and enrollers for impactful program improvement.
    • Report program outcomes to partners, funders and granting agencies, as relevant to assigned programs.
    • Oversee monitoring, reporting, and implementation requirements for assigned programs.
    • Assist in performing outreach to potential new partner agencies and program implementation partners.
    • Prepare and share presentations on assigned programs.
    • Create enrollment support materials.
    • Interact directly with enrollment staff to answer questions and troubleshoot issues.
    • Maintain policies and procedures required for program compliance.
    • Complete reporting tasks for various programs.
    • Ensure invoicing is properly completed each month for all programs.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years related experience.
    • Experience in food and nutrition or other anti-poverty work.
    • Experience in healthcare sector is preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with coworkers and customers.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work independently.
    • Experience with problem-solving and critical thinking.
    • Proficient communication skills.
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and willingness to learn new software.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce highly preferred.

    COMPENSATION

    $65,000-$75,000 per year, plus benefits.
