The Lymphoma Research Foundation (the Foundation) seeks a Director of Institutional and Community Partnerships to join the Strategic Partnerships Department. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, this is a pivotal new role that is responsible for the acquisition and cultivation of external partners for the Foundation to increase program participation and community engagement.

The Foundation is the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted to funding innovative research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives, and patient services. The Foundation’s mission is to realize the promise of science to eradicate lymphoma and serve the community impacted by the disease. With the guidance of a prestigious Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), the Foundation invests in the research and scientists which have the greatest potential to improve our understanding of lymphomas and lead to improved treatment options for patients. To date, the Foundation has funded more than $82.7 million in research focused on the origins and treatment of lymphoma.
Through comprehensive disease guides and publications, in-person conferences, and online resources, the Foundation provides education for people with lymphoma, as well as their loved ones and care partners. A robust suite of patient services provides direct support to people who have received a lymphoma diagnosis. An industry leader in digital communications, the Foundation maintains a strong presence on multiple social media platforms and has won national awards for its innovative use of social media to educate cancer patients. The Foundation also provides a wide range of continuing medical education programs designed to increase the knowledge, skills and performance of healthcare professionals who treat and care for people with lymphoma.

About the Opportunity
The Director of Institutional and Community Partnerships is a leadership role that will serve as the primary point of contact for partners and will steward activities internally. This position will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse medical institutions and community agencies to support the Foundation’s programs and events in key markets and nationally. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and independent thinker with a background in healthcare provider engagement and institutional partnerships, as well as past experience leading outreach to diverse populations. The position is based in the Foundation’s New York City office; please note that the organization currently utilizes a flex schedule, and all New York-based staff are required to work in the Foundation office weekly Tuesday-Thursday; staff may elect to work remotely Mondays and Fridays. This role is an exempt, full-time position with a salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 annually.
