    Descrição

    About OCJF:

The Orange County Justice Fund (OCJF) is a 501©3 nonprofit based in Orange County, California that supports immigrants and refugees impacted by detention and deportation. Through legal clinics, community support, and our immigration bond fund, we work to help community members access due process, reunite with loved ones, and navigate immigration systems with dignity.

    About the Position:

OCJF is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our immigration bond fund. The Bond Fund Coordinator will coordinate bond fund applications, maintain internal tracking systems, manage documentation and follow-up, and support communication with bond recipients, families, advocates, and community partners.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple systems and tasks, and committed to immigrant justice and community accountability.

    Responsibilities:

    Bond Fund Coordination

    • Review bond fund applications and conduct follow-up with applicants, families, advocates, or attorneys.
    • Coordinate documentation, tracking, and operational aspects of immigration bond postings and bond resolutions, including communication through CeBONDS and coordination with ICE, DHS, detention facilities, attorneys, applicants, and community partners throughout the bond process.
    • Coordinate communication regarding release planning, timelines, and next steps.

    Systems and Administrative Support

    • Maintain accurate records across internal systems, including tracking spreadsheets, SharePoint, and case management systems.
    • Organize digital files and ensure consistency in documentation and data entry.
    • Support quarterly and year-end reconciliation and reporting processes.

    Communication & Team Support

    • Conduct post-release follow-up and ongoing case-related communication as needed.
    • Assist with communication related to bond status updates, ICE/DHS notices, and contributor outreach.
    • Attend team meetings and contribute to operational projects and workflow improvements.

    Advocacy & External Engagement

    • Represent OCJF through participation in national and regional immigration bond networks, contribute to collaborative advocacy efforts as appropriate, and support public education regarding the immigration bond process through educational materials, informational resources, social media content, and other public communications.
