    Manager, Grant Operations

    Salary Range $­­­­58,000-$65,000

    Rebuilding Together, a national housing and community revitalization nonprofit with 109 affiliates around the country, is seeking a Grant Operations Manager to drive the implementation and administration of its diverse grant portfolio, which includes federal and corporate partnership grants. This position can work remotely and will report to the Senior Manager, Grant Operations.

    Applicants must currently reside in one of the following states: CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, NV, NJ, OK, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI. We are not able to hire candidates located outside of these states at this time.

    The Grant Operations Manager will provide program management oversight for a diverse portfolio of grants, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance, and timely implementation. This includes developing and maintaining grant policies, deliverables, and tracking systems, proactive communication with stakeholders, and collaborating across teams to ensure successful execution and reporting for all grants.

The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented project manager who excels at keeping complex grants and partnerships on track. They bring strong analytical and compliance skills, and will ensure accuracy, accountability, and timely execution, while also bringing enthusiasm for making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day aspects of a robust and growing grant portfolio of partnerships and partner projects, including but not limited to; implementing grant award processes, regular communications (written and verbal) with affiliate network and/or partners, tracking against contract deliverables and program budgets, data entry and analysis, reporting, and/or funding disbursement oversight
    • Lead communication with affiliates and partners to provide updates, guidance, and support for successful grant implementation
    • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure that all contract requirements are being met by applicable deadlines, as well as to solicit needs, ideas, on-the-ground experience, and buy-in
    • Support the Director and Senior Manager in the development of a multi-year strategy around grant implementation and development operations to ensure that the best interests of all stakeholders are being met by the program(s)
    • Lead compilation of data for grant reporting to ensure alignment with Director, Senior Manager, and Finance Department on report status, match and leverage tracking, and affiliate compliance
    • Monitor affiliate compliance to support the team’s efforts to mitigate program risk, including completing regular internal file reviews to ensure proper retention of all required grant documentation, monitoring of eligible activities, and/or completing grant readiness and risk assessments
    • Support internal and external audits related to grant programs, ensuring readiness and accuracy of required documentation.
    • Other grant administration or program duties as assigned

    equired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience, or any combination of education and experience to meet the minimum requirements of the position
    • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to balance priorities
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to write and speak clearly and effectively, to listen actively, and to engage, inspire, and persuade
    • Demonstrated knowledge of technical assistance, quality assurance, and grant, program, and budget management
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience to design, manage, and track large-scale grant programs
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals
    • Proficient in common software, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Salesforce preferred
