    THE OPPORTUNITY:

    WEH seeks a collaborative, strategic, and mission-driven fundraising professional to join our development team. This role offers the opportunity to lead organization-wide giving campaigns and play a central role in the planning and execution of our signature Annual Event. If you’re a skilled project manager with a passion for storytelling, community engagement, and youth development, this role is for you.

    Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, the Manager of Annual Giving and Events plays a key leadership role on the Development team, leading the organization’s annual giving campaigns, the manager will also oversee the planning and execution of West End House’s signature Annual Event.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Annual Giving Campaigns

    • Plan and execute West End House’s annual giving campaigns, including segmentation, messaging, solicitation strategy, and stewardship.
    • Collaborate with the communications team to design compelling appeals across print, digital, and social platforms.
    • Track campaign performance and donor trends to inform strategy and ensure revenue targets are met.

    Fundraising Events – Annual Event Leadership

    • Serve as the project lead for West End House’s Annual Event, managing all aspects from concept to execution, including timelines, program content, logistics, and vendor coordination.
    • Collaborate with donor relationship managers to craft compelling sponsorship solicitations
    • Partner with internal teams, board members, and external vendors to create a compelling, mission-driven experience that meets both fundraising and engagement goals.
    • Oversee event communications, marketing materials, donor recognition, and post-event follow-up and analysis.

    Development Operations & Team Collaboration

    • Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM (Raiser’s Edge), ensuring timely acknowledgments and reporting.
    • Contribute to development team strategy, planning meetings, and donor communications.
    • Support internal systems and processes that enhance donor experience and team effectiveness.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • 2-3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with demonstrated success in managing fundraising events and/or annual campaigns.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
    • Proven experience in donor cultivation and stewardship.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and messaging.
    • Familiarity with donor databases and CRM tools (Raiser’s Edge preferred).
    • Collaborative, proactive, and mission-driven, with a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and youth development

    WHAT WE OFFER:

    The salary range for this role is $62,000-$79,000. Rates of pay within this range will be commensurate with experience and based on factors such as years of experience, educational qualifications, and proficiency in a second language. Salaries ranges are developed in alignment with West End House’s internal compensation policy and because internal equity is critical, offers are firm. The compensation philosophy outlines salary growth potential for all employees so that staff can know how to increase their salary through performance.
