We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team, providing essential psychological support to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is a full-time position with opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing
- Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
- Provide individual and group counseling
- Deliver staff training on behavior management and mental health support
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and agency committees
- Conduct ongoing behavioral evaluations and documentation
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree required: PhD, PsyD, MA in Psychology, LMHC, or School Psychologist certification
- New York State Licensure required
- Formal training and education in behavior management
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred
- Flexibility to work some evening hours
