    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team, providing essential psychological support to adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is a full-time position with opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the individuals we serve.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychological assessments and testing
    • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans
    • Provide individual and group counseling
    • Deliver staff training on behavior management and mental health support
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and agency committees
    • Conduct ongoing behavioral evaluations and documentation

    Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree required: PhD, PsyD, MA in Psychology, LMHC, or School Psychologist certification
    • New York State Licensure required
    • Formal training and education in behavior management
    • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred
    • Flexibility to work some evening hours
