THE OPPORTUNITY
The Head of Impact Strategy, a newly established position, will be the organization’s strategic leader for evaluation, shaping and advancing DOROT’s approach to assessing, learning from, and communicating about our impact, and strengthening DOROT’s competencies in data driven practices and analysis. The Head of Impact Strategy will build upon DOROT’s current evaluation efforts and serve as an internal expert resource to the Executive and Senior Management Teams and staff throughout the agency. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in community-based evaluation and impact measurement; talent in transforming research learnings into meaningful communication and storytelling opportunities for a variety of audiences including, policymakers, funders, academics and the general public; and the skill to partner with and inspire staff to incorporate an evaluation mindset into their work in service to agency goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership - Drive the evaluation and program impact plans and processes needed to achieve excellence in evaluation and program impact practices and help create a culture of evaluation, learning, and continuous improvement.
Evaluation Design & Implementation - Lead all processes and outcome measurement activities related to tracking and reporting on the progress of participant outcomes including overseeing all program evaluations and summarizing findings and learnings for use by both internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner cross-departmentally to routinely integrate DOROT’s evaluation and program impact learnings into our work and elevate DOROT’s role as a leader in the fields of aging services, intergenerational and social connection programs, and volunteerism. This is an exempt position, and candidates can expect an annual base salary between $115,000-$130,000 commensurate with experience.
