Who We Are and What We Believe:
Founded in 1997, Bottom Line is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization with a mission to partner with degree-aspiring students of color from under-resourced communities as they get into college, graduate, and go far in life. We achieve this mission by providing one-on-one guidance during the college application process through college graduation and the successful launch of their careers.
Our vision is to dramatically transform urban communities by producing thousands of new career-ready college graduates.
When you join Bottom Line, you will find a rewarding, fast-paced, results-oriented environment. We build strong relationships with our students and with each other. We take our work seriously, and we know that a focus on data and metrics is integral to our continued success. Experts in our fields, we are driven by our mission and extremely proud of the work we do.
What You Will Do:
The Chief Regional Officer partners with Bottom Line’s Executive Directors to achieve operational excellence in our regions, in support of our strategic plan. Executive Directors serve as national leaders of the organization who are responsible for Bottom Line’s relevancy of Bottom Line’s model and performance in their region. Primarily, the CRO and EDs focus on local visions of scale and impact, execution of the program model towards KPIs, and stakeholder experience.
The Chief of Staff to the Chief Regional Officer plays a critical strategic and operational leadership role, ensuring that all Bottom Line regions are positioned for success, operate efficiently, and are aligned with the organization's strategic plan as well as its in-year "one Bottom Line" organizational initiatives. As a trusted partner and extension of the CRO, the CoS is responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives, navigating and managing the intersection of organizational rhythms, supporting regional teams and executive directors, and enabling strategic decision-making.
This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented and mission-driven leader with exceptional communication skills, operational business insight, and a deep commitment to educational equity.
