About the Role
Center for the Heart is seeking a Contract Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide project-based administrative and operational support. This role supports the COO’s work across organizational operations, documentation, coordination, and follow-through on key initiatives.
The position is designed to provide the COO with focused operational leverage through clearly defined support areas. Responsibilities are scoped to internal coordination, documentation, and execution support, with an emphasis on organization, clarity, and reliability.
This engagement is structured as an independent contractor (1099) role and is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting senior leadership, maintaining systems, and ensuring details are managed thoughtfully and consistently.

Role Scope
This role is designed to support the Office of the COO, with responsibilities primarily aligned to COO-led priorities and initiatives. From time to time, the contractor may also support other executives or organizational leaders on clearly defined tasks that align with broader operational goals.
The scope of work emphasizes structured administrative and operational support, with flexibility to assist where needed while maintaining a clear primary focus on supporting the COO. The contractor will work independently, manage their own workflow, and deliver agreed-upon outputs within established timelines.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in executive support, operations, or project coordination.
This is an independent contractor (1099) role and does not include traditional employee benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement contributions.
