    Descrição

Our Mission: Project Invent empowers youth with future-ready mindsets to succeed individually and impact globally, through invention.

Our Vision: A generation of fearless, compassionate problem solvers.

Description: Project Invent is a national nonprofit empowering middle and high school students across the country to invent technologies for social impact. We train teachers in design thinking, engineering, and entrepreneurship to lead students through identifying real problems in their communities and inventing impactful solutions. At the end of the year, students pitch their inventions to tech and business leaders at our Demo Day events. Since 2018, we've grown from one to 70 schools across the country, with 70% of our Fellows teaching in low-income serving schools.

As a Program Manager, you will lead team support efforts for our schools and will work to ensure our fellowship is a positive and formative experience for all of our educators. The ideal candidate loves supporting educators and is excited about building a community, online and offline. You will do everything from brainstorming & backwards planning with educators, managing the digital community platform, speaking at conferences, coordinating educators' grant programs, piloting new programs, and more.

    What we're looking for…

    • Passion for supporting educators as they deliver innovative education.
    • Commitment to empowering students to be creative, resilient, empathetic problem solvers.
    • Enthusiastic facilitation skills, in-person and online.
    • Strong networking skills: not afraid to cold email, network at conferences, and start conversations with potential partners.
    • Detail orientation: can handle high volume of emails, complex scheduling, and managing progress of 60+ program Fellows.
    • Willing to travel (primarily within the US) about 5-8 times per year.
    • Experience as a Title 1 educator is a plus.
    • Experience with maker education and/or invention education is a plus.
    • Experience with teaching Arduino and/or micro:bit is a plus.
    • Experience with CRM software (i.e. Salesforce) is a plus.

    Roles & Responsibilities…

    • (60%) Fellow Support: Support Project Invent Fellows through regular communications, 1-on-1 support calls, monthly newsletters, and resource creation & sharing.
    • (10%) Workshop Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate training, workshops, and events virtually and at national conferences.
    • (10%) Fellow Progress Tracking: Deploy surveys & other data collection tools to monitor the implementation and impact of Project Invent programs.
    • (10%) Event Support: Support event execution for Program Kick-Off, Idea Review (mid-year milestone), Demo Days (capstone pitch events), and other events.
    • (10%) Other Program Support: Support recruitment efforts; help pilot new program initiatives; support special partnerships.

About working with us: Project Invent is committed to working and thriving in a multicultural environment and to maintaining an inclusive working environment where all employees and their differences are valued and respected. We are a remote-first team and are happy to accept candidates from anywhere in the U.S. Given the need to support educators with classroom visits and periodic in-person support, preference will be given to candidates in areas where a high number of teachers & schools are implementing Project Invent: Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, and New York City.

Team members typically work 9AM-5PM hours in their respective time zones with occasional evening and weekend commitments. This is a full-time, salaried position for a candidate excited about being a key contributor to a fast-growing organization. This grant-based position is expected to begin on October 1st, 2025, and end on September 30th, 2026. This is an at-will position.

Anticipated salary range of $60,000-$70,000; actual salary dependent on candidate experience level and location. Employee will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, vision, and dental insurance.
