JOIN THE MAMA-TEE COMMUNITY FRIDGE PROJECT
OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR:
Type: Independent Contractor
Hours: 5-7 hours per week
Rate: $20 per hour
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in operations preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Weekly Functions:
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Mama-Tee Community Fridge Project.
- Virtual and In-Person Engagement:
- Engage with staff and volunteers virtually 65% of the time, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Conduct in-person engagement 35% of the time to foster a sense of community and connection.
- Mama-Tee Pop-Up Grocery Store:
- Operate the Mama-Tee Pop-Up Grocery Store in person on bi-weekly Saturdays.
- Conduct inventory assessments and manage stock levels effectively.
- Volunteer Retention/Food Partners & Fridge Hosts/Business Development
- Implement new strategies to attract and retain volunteers for the project.
- Communicate/Update Food partners & Fridge Hosts (weekly if needed)
- Research new business opportunities (bi-weekly)
- Grant or Funding Experience:
- Prior experience in securing grants or funding is a plus.
- Management Systems:
- Help maintain current management systems and contribute to the development of new systems as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual and in-person engagement.
- Ability to operate the Mama-Tee Pop-Up Grocery Store efficiently.
- Proactive in implementing strategies for volunteer recruitment.
- Familiarity with grant or funding processes is advantageous.
