Development and Donor Relations Coordinator

Position Summary
The Anna Crawford Children's Center (ACCC) Development and Donor Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting, developing, and implementing strategies that strengthen fund development, donor engagement, and philanthropic support for the organization.
This position plays a key role in advancing ACCC’s development efforts by coordinating donor relations, supporting foundation funding strategies, managing development operations, and helping execute initiatives that sustain and grow revenue. Working closely with leadership and staff, the Coordinator contributes to building a strong and diversified base of support so ACCC can continue providing critical services to children and families impacted by abuse and violence.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Development Strategy & Execution
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive fund and resource development strategy aligned with ACCC’s mission and strategic priorities
- Assist in identifying and advancing revenue opportunities across individual giving, corporate sponsorships, foundation funding, planned giving, and events
- Help track, evaluate, and report on fundraising performance and progress toward goals
- Contribute ideas and strategies to strengthen and diversify funding streams
Donor Cultivation, Engagement & Stewardship
- Support the development and implementation of donor engagement and stewardship strategies
- Coordinate donor outreach, follow-up, and relationship tracking to ensure meaningful engagement
- Prepare donor communications including thank-you letters, impact updates, and recognition materials
- Assist in strengthening donor retention and increasing levels of giving
- Support conversations and coordination related to planned giving and tax-advantaged charitable giving opportunities
Donor Database System Strategy and Management
- Support the development and implementation of systems and strategies for effective donor database management
- Collaborate to maintain ACCC’s donor database system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Generate reports and analyze donor data, campaign performance, and giving trends
- Utilize data insights to support strategic decision-making and improve fundraising outcomes
Foundation Relations Strategy & Support
- Support the development and implementation of foundation funding strategies aligned with ACCC’s programs
- Assist with identifying foundation opportunities and preparing proposals and required materials
- Track foundation deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data, outcomes, and impact information for submissions and reports
Events & Campaign Strategy and Coordination
- Support the planning and implementation of campaigns and fundraising efforts
- Contribute to strategies that enhance event revenue, donor engagement, and community awareness
- Support annual campaigns, giving days, and special fundraising initiatives
Community, Corporate & Professional Advisor Engagement
- Support strategies to build and strengthen relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Assist with outreach for sponsorships, in-kind support, and engagement opportunities
- Help coordinate community engagement activities and represent ACCC when appropriate
- Coordinate and support relationships with financial planners, wealth advisors, estate attorneys, and tax professionals to advance planned giving and tax-advantaged charitable contributions
- Contribute to expanding ACCC’s visibility and community impact
Communications Strategy Support
- Assist in developing and implementing development-related communications strategies
- Support creation of appeals, impact reports, and digital content
- Assist with social media and newsletter efforts related to fund development and donor engagement
- Help ensure consistent messaging that reflects ACCC’s mission and impact
Team Collaboration & Strategic Support
- Work collaboratively with leadership and staff to support development strategy and goals
- Assist with internal coordination to gather information for donor communications, reporting, and funding efforts
- Provide support on strategic development initiatives and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in nonprofit development, administration, or a related field
- Must complete and pass a criminal background investigation and drug screen
Core Skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor database systems (e.g., Bloomerang, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of fundraising principles, donor relations, planned giving, and development strategy

Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Woodstock, Georgia. Occasional evening and weekend hours are required for fundraising events and community engagement activities.
