Teachers of English as a Second Language for Adults needed!
Skyland Church offers free ESL classes to the community each Wednesday night (beginning Aug 20th) during the Dekalb Co school year - 6:30pm-8:30pm. We need volunteers to lead or co-lead class sections. Student levels vary from absolute beginner to advanced. You do not need previous teaching experience or any other language skills, you just need willingness to help! Our teachers typically find this opportunity very fulfilling and many return year after year. You can still help even if you can't commit to every Wednesday. We provide all curriculum and training.
